Training the body is half of the battle…
B.A.S.I.C.S. training is designed to improve student athleticism. We provide speed, agility, quickness, and flexibility training to young athletes who want to improve their skills.
The earlier an athlete learns the proper mechanics behind these essentials skills, the sooner they can take their first step toward applying these sport-specific skills during an athletic performance. Demonstrating strong athleticism on the field helps high school players receive more recognition from coaches and, potentially, recruiters.
The other half is training the mind.
All of our training sessions are developed to push the athlete’s body to new heights while also working on the mental stamina it takes to compete at a higher level. At B.A.S.I.C.S., we want our athletes to cultivate the mental strength necessary to outwork their opponents. Young athletes must be prepared to face any challenge and ready to compete against other skilled athletes if they truly want to make it to the collegiate level.
The sooner young athletes develop both their bodies and minds, the better their chances for competing at higher levels.
If you want to improve your speed, agility, quickness, and flexibility as well as your mental stamina, B.A.S.I.C.S. offers several training options. All private and semi-private training sessions can be done at the location of your choice within the Coastal Bend.
- Private Sessions: Young athletes will receive individualized private coaching from a former NCAA athlete. These sessions allow the student to benefit from one-on-one instruction and customized workouts. ($75 per session)
- Semi-Private Sessions: Young athletes will meet in a small group (2-4) to receive individualized coaching from a former NCAA athlete. These sessions are excellent for students who are motivated by working out with others. ($25 per athlete)
- Public Workouts: A former NCAA athlete will lead speed and agility workouts on Saturdays. Anybody can attend! Check our news section or Facebook page for details about the time and location each week. ($10 per session)
Position and sport specific training is also available by request.
